F-A-S-H-I-O-N : September is finally here and for most of us were all excited as the Ber-months officially arrive but for a Fashion Savvy like me, there's more to this month than that... Good Heavens of Fashion, I am ecstatic because September is also "The Fashion Month" and I am all giddy and excited to flip through the pages of the Biggest Fashion Issues of our Local Fashion Glossies and Style Bibles.

So here's a round up of covers of our Top Local Fashion and Lifestyle Magazines to hit the shelves of your favorite magazines stands and bookstores. Well, I know, I am NO Expert but I would put my personal comment and thought (D SAYS) about each covers. LONG LIVE LOCAL FASHION!

D SAYS on L'Officiel Manila: HIGH FASHION.... Period. Top pick for this Month

D SAYS on Metro: IT'S TIME TO SHINE: Shot in the land of Stars and Dreams (California) with The Rising Star (Liza Soberano), Metro offered us something what (I think) What they do best: Fashion Editorial and Cover in a Foreign Country. 3 beautifully shot covers; Fresh, Fashion forward and Inspiring.

D SAYS on Preview: Deja Vu. the moment I saw the cover the first word in my head was "again!?".. not only Kathryn Bernardo graces the cover again but the entire look and cover reminds me of her Preview cover 2 years ago (August 2013), It's just that, this month its just a little vivid shades of color palette and International designer brand was used. But if you says its Fresh? hmm maybe not in my eyes...  though it looks good and based on my visit to bookstores this cover sells fast.

D SAYS on Mega: Ohh the Glorious beauty of the lavender fields of Japan, Mega pick the perfect location for their Fashion Issue and their Making Mega Finale plus they got awesome set of geniuses for their Fashion Team that worked for this Issue. Vice Ganda "re-imagined" on the cover wearing flowy dress and blonde hair, Hmm.. a lil drag, forgive me but that doesn't translate Fashion to me. If this was their cover on other month maybe Mega would win in a Glossies War but for their Big Fashion Issue... I say Nah! It doesn't work for me.

D SAYS on Garage: Yesss! The Spot Light is on the Real Men of Fashion. 2015 is a remarkable year for menswear and there's no other way to celebrate that than putting a Top Pinoy Model on the cover, shot in a Fashion Capital where the big Change in Menswear Fashion took place (New York). Plus the Hottest Male Models today in Garage Black. Kudos!

D SAYS on Chalk: This is what you call FRESH! Kelsey Meritt breaking through in Modeling Arena abroad is one Fashion story that deserves our attention this month. Chalk did an awesome job covering it plus the cover really looks Chic.

D SAYS on Status: Status Mag never fail to give us a new taste of Fashion. We all know they ain't after the glam of Fashion but they sure know how to spice it up by showing us a different side of it. Keeping their Edgy, unique and Hip take on Style and pop Culture.. their Style Issue looks Cool to me.

D SAYS on Comopolitan: HOT HOT HOT and OH SOOO HOT. You sure don't want to miss this Month's Issue of Cosmo as they serves us The Ultimate Abs and Boys Buffet.. Yes Girl! It's Cosmo 69 Bachelor List once again. That's more than enough reason to grab your copy of Cosmo. Plus, #DanRich looks equally Hot on the cover, well thats one Hot Couple.
